What Should I Wear the Morning of Surgery?

Dress Comfortably
We recommend that patients wear comfortable, stretchy pants or sweatpants and a shirt that buttons from the front. Patients can wear their pants in the operating room. However, their shirt is replaced with a long gown. It is much easier to put on a shirt on after surgery that does not need to be pulled over the face.
A Long Gown and Non-Slip Socks Will Be Provided
A long gown that ties from the back and non-slip socks are provided to patients before they enter the operating room. Patients will change back into their normal clothes prior to leaving the office.
